Characteristics

The anti-tear conveyor belt features highly extensible transverse steel cords or polyester cords evenly distributed within the top cover (or both top and bottom covers) of the steel cord carcass. Positioned perpendicular to the belt’s running direction, the anti-tear layer acts as a barrier when conveying hard and sharp materials, effectively preventing piercing. Even in cases of penetration, the anti-tear layer provides additional protection against tearing.
